For small webshops

“How much?” deserves a link, not a “DM’d you!”

Ask for SHOP in the comments. Every shopper gets the exact product link — and a code if you like — in their DMs, while they still want it. You get to see which reels sell.

On your own post, in minutes. 14-day free trial, no card. Needs an Instagram professional account.

01The problem

Every “link?” you answer by hand is a sale you almost lost.

Product reels bring a steady trickle of “price?”, “what size is she wearing?” and “link??”. Answering them one by one eats your evening, and the ones you miss in the morning have already scrolled on. Meanwhile your store analytics just say “Instagram” — not which post.

02Three ways to use it

Posts you already make, each with a job to do.

  1. 1Comment SHOP

    Product reel or try-on

    They get
Direct product link with a time-limited discount code.
    You learn
Which product videos send shoppers to the store, per post.
  2. 2Comment BACK

    Restock announcement

    They get
The restocked item’s link, with a follow-up nudge for anyone who hasn’t clicked, where Instagram’s messaging window allows.
    You learn
How many people were waiting, and how many came back for the second nudge.
  3. 3Comment LOOK

    Styled flat-lay or bundle

    They get
A carousel with each item in the photo as its own card.
    You learn
Which item in the look people actually clicked — your next hero product.

03How it works

Three steps, and the first one is a post you’ve already made.

  1. 1

    Pick the post

Pick a product reel that already gets “price?” comments.

  2. 2

    They comment SHOP

Shoppers comment SHOP — “link”, “want”, “size?” are caught too.

  3. 3

    The DM does the rest

The product link and your code arrive in their DMs instantly.

05The number that matters

Store clicks per post

Postbooster tracks every click on the links it sends, per post and per person. Checkout happens in your shop; add UTM tags to your link and your store analytics can pick up the rest. Likes and views stay in Instagram — this is the number that tells you which posts are doing business.

06Questions

Good questions before you try it.

Is this allowed by Instagram?

Yes. Postbooster runs on Meta’s official Instagram API (Business Login for Instagram) and only messages people who commented on your post or messaged you first. It works inside Instagram’s messaging rules — private replies to comments and the messaging window that opens when someone reaches out — and sends are capped per day so your account behaves like a busy human, not a bot.

Does it work with Shopify, WooCommerce or Etsy?

It works with any link. Paste the product URL from whatever platform you use; Postbooster sends a tracked link that forwards to it.

Can I reply publicly too, so others see it works?

Yes. Postbooster can post a short public reply (“Sent you the link!”) under the comment, which nudges more people to comment. You choose the wording.

Is a discount code required?

No. Plenty of shops just send the link. A code gives people a reason to click now rather than later, so it’s worth testing both.

What about DMs asking about sizing?

Replies land in the Postbooster inbox next to the lead’s history, so you can answer with context — which post they came from and what they clicked.

Try the small webshops flow on your own post.

Pick a post, keep or change the SHOP keyword, paste your link — and the next comment gets it in their DMs.
